Harbor Freight Item 66439
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=66439
Northern Tool Item# 160948
http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200309785_200309785
I got the analogous (but slightly better) model from Northern Tool, but these items look like they are made by the same factory.
I ran into two major issues, here's how to fix them.
1. The ceramic lamp contact holders bend and have to be pushed back into place. You can tell this is a problem if the bulb is slightly loose.
2. When the lamp holders bend, they tend to blow up the halogen bulb and can cause the contacts to be coated with carbon. A dremel and a wire brush will clean it right up.
Otherwise, the tripod didn't last very long with contractors around, thankfully, the NT version has the ability to remove the tripod. If I ever get really bored maybe I'll replace the legs with conduit.
I'm pretty sure I bought this on sale for around 15-20$, and it doesn't owe me anything after what it has been though.
