Hi guys, I've joined your site, in search of knowledge of welding. I would love to learn to weld, since I come from a family with a major background in making stuff ourselves. we find it cheaper to do it ourselves than to pay someone else to do it. seems to be the case more and more these days. anyhow, I'm looking to learn as much as I can from the site, and probably put it to use someday, its good to at least know I know how to do it, then I can make stuff I need rather than buy it.

Good to have a young'un interested in doing anything. Do you have access to a welder or are you planning on knitting youself one....( :jester: that's just a friendly joke, there). Really, pull up a chair and dig in. There are other young folks here who are also just getting started in the welding field.

As of right now, I dont even have a garage, but I will soon enough. then I'm going to buy the welder, and get REALLY into this stuff.
