extension cord for 251

I have a dedicated line for my mm 251 on #6 wire with a 50 a breaker.
I would like to run an extension cord about 25 ft is this possible? What size wire should I use?

The #6 is fine. the 25' will not effect your voltage drop. The #6 is good for I think 60 amps so you should be fine.

BR welder sells 50',25' extension cords. I use the 50' on my mm251 ans 180sd, no problems.
