CT-416D, plasma dead

I'm new here.....Help....
Tried to use the plasma yesterday. It just sparks once then is Dead. Does anyone have an idea where to start, I am thinking mayby the Mosfets...

I sent my direct number a bit ago, give me a ring when you are near the unit.

Try checking your internal wiring to make sure a wire is not loose from a board. Also be sure that your grounding clamp is on clean steel and not on rust or paint! A poor ground will cause it to spark or not operate at its fullest.

there are no loose wires. 123.6 volts on both sides. unit strikes an arc for a micro sec, then goes dead.
OC light comes on and fan not operational.
Alex with sales called me and offered replacement or upgrade......THANKS.......

I'm watching Everlast to see how they handle things going forward. I've read too many threads on how the owner had to be walked through to fix machines that should have been exchanged to begin with.

I reckon FDCMiami is one of the educated ones here. He is one of few from the US who doesn't think that the earth ends at the US border and he knows his history as well. I reckon he paid attention in school. There's another character called sundown...there's a piece of work if there ever was one. Keen to give out good advice without actually being a skilled welder.

haha - I'll bet he's the type who thinks igloos are JUST north of the border. I've been asked where the snow was by tourists who had skis on the roof IN JUNE - I'll never forget the look on thier faces when I told them to keep driving a 3000 miles north if they wanted to see snow. Honest story.

let's put things in perspective, on any given day there are about 1000 viewers on WW; of that number maybe 8 or 12 of them are posting their nonsense about EL.

of that number i don't know that there are more than two that are owner's of EL equipment.

most are just trolls, unemployed probably, with nothing better to do.

some of my federal taxes go towards making their communities nice and comfy. Igloo's are now constructed from the same materials as your house is.
