While it is a serious survey for the information we are trying to gather, there were a few "light" answers thrown in to try to keep this from being a very boring survey. This forum has always struck me as being collegial and we were attempting to have that tone carried over. My apologies if you were offended.

Took survey. Had a couple inspirations when it came to potential improvements for the forum. Hope you guys are actually reading those parts of the surveys, and not just the statistics on the multiple choice questions.

What's the survey for? Marketing demographics so you can charge more for advertising? Or something completely different?

A_Dab: Thanks for taking the survey.

Some of it is for marketing demos for advertising meetings (I won't lie to you, people ask for this data and the more we can give them the better chance we have of closing a sale, plus knowing demos means you approach the right sort of advertisers) but another part of it is also to look for areas to consider for forum improvements/changes. So it's really a mixture of goals.

And having gone through this exercise a number of times in different markets and situations we do read the free response answers, especially looking for things that a number of people might mention and can be done easily.
