Hey guys just wanted to say hi to everyone here. just a little about myself I am 26 years old and i own a lawn care and snow plowing company and also have a small fab shop which we sell new and use snowplows and do some fab work trailer repair and build a few thing. i am a welder by trade went to school for and worked in a machine shop for 4 years in there fab department. i am looking at getting a tig machine and don't know what to get i need one about once a month, to weld thin aluminum and some stainless i currently use my buddies lincoln precision tig 375 at his shop, it is a nice machine but it is over kill for me i was looking at the lincoln precision tig 185 or the miller syncrowave 180 sd any info would be helpful. Here is the list of the welding equipment that i have in my fab shop if that helps any they are lincoln power mig 255 with a magnum 300 amp gun, miller 251 mig with the 30A spool gun and a magnum 300 amp gun( i did this so all the tips and stuff are interchangeable), Hypertherm 600 plasma cutter, AC/DC 225/125 lincoln stick welder and a set of torches. So any help or info on the tig would be helpful and also i like both lincoln and miller they are both great. thank you joe
