Just wanted to let everyone know I am now on the site ( Not that anyone cares:eek:) I have been welding with a mig welder for the past few years. Started on building drag cars and then rear engine dragsters. I am no pro, but ok at it. I know have a 9x20 metal lathe and small mill to start playing with. I plan on buying a tig and try my hand at messing around with alum. I also have a one shot bender I need to get a power unit for to get it going. I am thinking about trying my hand at custom bumpers for golf carts made with alum. tubing so we will see how it goes. Just wanted to say hi :waving: and hope to be posting hear and there.
Howdy from another member from the River City. How do you enjoy this rain that we are finally getting? What side of town are you on?

I am actually right off the Hwy. What side of town are you on?
If your garage is anything like mine, it is hard to see past the boxes of "treasure" my wife keeps piled inside the door. I live on the west side at the corner of 410 and 151.

Hey from Bulverde guys. :D
I can't really blame it all on her. Her stuff is against the wall, it's my cherry picker and cnc router that are blocking the door.
DDA52. I like your avatar. I am interested to see how the new "Universes" show will be this fall.

Thanks, Jay. Not too many pick up on that one for some reason. Universe looks to have some potential. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, huh?

If I would ever get my a** off the couch and get out to my Garage, I would be able to actually do work in it. I really need to get it situated to move around and work in there. Playing on hear does not help, But really good info. bumper cars that sound like it can be fun. Maybe a new extreme sport, Bumper cars at the golf course.

yep bumping golf carts could be fun. They did that in the Movie Navy Seals but I haven't tried it.
