Hey all. I've only done a couple beads in welding but I read as much about it I can. I'm currently in IT but it sucks as there is no money in IT in Canada. Sooooo, I'm trying to get outta IT. Welding looks like an awesome way to go. I love building stuff and bonding two or more pieces of metal together is wicked and soooo useful in life.
I have a couple people that are willing to show me some basics in welding so I think I'm set to jump into the field. Are there any pointers that welders out there can give a newb that's never welded for a job before?
