hello new to this site. while in college i took a welding course (required for my mechanical engineering degree). i looked forward to this class more than any other class i ever had. well, maybe not building the bulldozer from scratch but definitely one of my favorites. the instructor said he had never seen anyone catch on so fast. maybe my adaptation to the art made it more fun to me. anyway ever since the class i try to weld anything i can. would love to become certified just to do it if i could ever find a way to read my way through the maze of things needed for certification. can't seem to find a clear way to go about becoming certified. anywho, in my day job i do lawn care, landscaping and snow removal. still haven't found much use for that me degree. look forward to learning on this site!
