:confused:Got a math question i would like to pick your guys brain.Ok here goes if you know the rpms of the motor and the pulley size on both the motor and the machine arbor what is the math formula to figure out what rpm the machine in running at.

motor rpm x motor pulley diameter / machine pulley diameter = machine rpm

ex:
3600 rpm motor
2 inch diameter motor pulley diameter
8 inch diamter machine pulley diameter

3600 rpm x 2 / 8 = 900 rpm at machine


no Java or web browser needed. :D

But that beltpulleycalc page is nice if you want/need -other- belt/pulley info, like center distance or belt length etc. :drinkup:
