I've had a stick welder, for over 30 years. But, I've wanted a TIG machine for about that long. Just bought a Hobart Tigmate. I have some motorcycle projects that have been on the back burner, way too long. I totaled my motorcycle last year, when a minivan zipped through an intersection, and successfully beat the car behind me. And, the driver was much surprised when I plastered the right rear of her vehicle. Anyway, it was an eye-opener. I figured it was time to get some of the projects started, before the next minivan takes me out. I've only just begun to browse this site. So far, I like it better than any of the other welding sites that I've visited. I'm not a proficient welder, so I'll do plenty searching of the site, before asking foolish questions.
