Machine came today and i have the manual downloaded. The machine came perfect looking and got it faster then expected. All items there and packed great.
Got the tig to work, need alot of patience and practise. Started with aluminum and it seems pretty touchy to get just right. The foot pedal must be defective, it seems to be more of an on/off switch then a toggle gas pedal like switch dont think its designed that way is it? I Had alot better results just using the on off on the handle. Seem to be balling up the tungsten pretty quick? Like i said need more practise.
The plasma seems to be having some issues tho not sure whats going on. Swapped out the consumables and have the air at 65. Will spark but wont hold an arc or cut? not sure whats going on. I'm sure Ill work thru the issues and best of all is the price and customer service. regards, paul

Hanny,

The foot pedal probably has a bent down rod that got shoved out of position in shipping. Also the rheostat on the side controls your maximum amperage, not the machine. We will be glad to give you support if you call us. Check your consumables on your torch, usually that problem is from loose consumables in the torch. Check them to see if they are tight.

Many experienced guys tell us that the unit welds just fine with thoriated for DC and AC. Do not use green under any circumstances...you won't like it.

If you are balling, you have too much DCEP when welding aluminum, or you have the torch in the wrong connector if its in DC or too small of an electrode. Please check to make sure you have it in the negative side.
