I'm a non-welder, but my neighbor owns a shop. He has done a lot of welding for me. He went through a divorce three years ago and my wife gave me a Lincoln AC 225 because we thought my neighbor was going to move away. He didn't, so he still does welding favors for me.
I still haven't stuck an arc with the 225, but I'm hoping to soon. Finally got electricity run in my shop. I've got a bunch of scrap sheetmetal that I'm going to use to fabricate some curtains so I don't burn the place down.
I'm looking forward to being able to do some of my own work, but I realize I'll have to call a pro for the tough jobs.
Hope you guys don't mind dumb questions!
