Mine is installed on a PlasmaCam and is used daily. Never had a problem with it.

Haven't cut much thicker than 12 Ga. (yet) and have never found the need for cranking it up past 20-23.
I got the base model and rewired the plug for 220v - nothing to it.

Have fun!

Ditto on the air dryer. You will also want a pair of shades. You can run it with just clear safety glasses but it is not so good on the eyes depending on your positioning.

Do get the deluxe one, I bitch about the case being tight but it is still a must have if you are going to take it somewhere and the consumables you get with it are a nice package.

i would rather just get a rough box or something to keep it in. i work in a data center so i can get the nice packing foam all day. as far as the consumables kit i will most likely order it when I buy the cutter. i would really like to you know look over the kit in person before i make my make up.

I think when I bought mine it worked out that the case is free given the stuff that comes in the deluxe kit that you don't get in the standard kit. It has a nice spot to store said consumable AND the circle guide which I have used for both circles and straight cuts.
