Does anyone know how to prevent automatic log off? Every time I get to writing a longer post I'll submit it , goto log in again , then the system says invalid thread and I lose the whole post! Damn I hate that too!

I think all you need to do is check the box to remember you when you first log in. It sets a cookie in your temp internet file so that you will stay logged in as long as your browser is on the site. You will have to re-check the box every time you delete cookies, though. Give it a shot and see how it works. Dont risk it with a big post...just write a follow up to this that's short and leave it open for a long time and then submit to see if it works.

yeah I am finding this to be a real PITA too. I just checked the "remember me" box at log in this time. Hope it helps. I prefer to log in myself for a few months to help me remember my password. Using it daily for a few months is about the only way I'll ever remember it. If I dont then when I am on someone elses puter and want to check and respond to things I cant remember my password.

When i sign in I check the "remember" me box and stay logged in until I delete cookies or shut down. This can last days.
