Hello group. My name is Kevin, Im a hobby type fabricator. I bought my first TIG machine in 1978, Miller Dial arc 250 HF. I now have a Syncrowave 351. I mostly weld up aircraft fuselages and related components.I average about one fuselage a year specializing in Piper Cubs. I have an HTP MIG 160 for "blacksmith" type work, building jigs and general repair. I want to improve my aluminum welding, it is structurally safe but Im looking for it to look better in appearance. I have many friends that think my alum. tanks etc. look good but I have seen better. Thats why I went to the square wave welder, in reality the Dial Arc did just as good. Most of the alum. material is 5052 .050 and some 3003 .050, Im glad to have found a board to share ideas. Any suggestions on the alum. settings? I keep everything clean and all material is new.Kevin
