well i should as they say tell all

started stick welding in high school in the early '70's

got govt. certified in '94 in mig and tig

never paid for the certs..the company i was working for at the time did...i quit now no certs...

but aluminum and stainless were my specialty

built my share if race cars
race car components...
been a machinst for 28 yrs now

built a aluminum intake manifold for a 427 ford from sheet stock
headers for a '99 crown vic?
various blower parts for outlaw street
i was a crewcheif for a supercomp dragster(semi retired now)
you asked...

Thats awesome ...you go by Zap? Zap you shall be called :D Well I know theres a lot of folks, incase you havent already noticed, who are interested on this forum inthe whole racing scene. Everything from lil go carts with lawnmower engines all the way up to things that would compare to nascar and such. Im sure youll be quite an asset. Tehres also plenty of talk about drilling and such. Being a machinist IM sure you know more about drilling then most of us combined lol. again...welcome

heh...when it comes to metal...it puts up a good fight..but always looses in the end...

i'd be glad to help anyone out...providing they in turn know what there doing


we make big stuff where i work...steamroller drums to oil filter making machines...we do it all...and i love it
