I guess it's a slow day.
Here's a tig sharpener I made back in November. I posted it over on the dark side back then.
For you new people here it is again.
I turned some bushings to match the size tungstens I use in my SD 180, 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8". I milled a flat where the set screw holds them so they wouldn't get burred. I drilled and milled a holder to replace the tool rest on a cheap Chi-com 6" grinder. I've got less than fifty bucks including the grinder and stand. Works like a champ

Here's it mounted on the grinder.
(I wedged in a electrode for the photo)
You stick the tungsten in the bushing, set the desired angle on the rest. Then just the tungsten with your fingers, like sharpening a pencil.
I leave it set up, and just use that wheel for tungstens.

That's really cool. Are those busings mild steel? Everything else looks like ss, but it's tough to tell in the pics.

Bushings are mild steel, everything else is aluminum
