Has anyone had experience with the Earthquake impact Wrench? Does it have the Advertised torque? any performance problems? Would you recommend another impact wrench? Whould be using as a hobbist. Life or job would not depend on it.
Thanks,
Bill

I bought one a while back, and have only used it a couple times but it works great for me. I haven't used other impacts enough to be able to compare it but it seems good. If you compare on their site or in the store the specs and everything are identical to the Ingersoll Rand Thundergun which costs $100 more. I compared them side by side in the store and from appearances they are identical other than the CP one has a rather poor fit and finish compared to the IR. I don't regret buying mine though.

I have been using the IR Thunder Gun daily for the last 7 years. It still hammers away with no rebuilds. I can't say about the CP wrench but I suspect it's a foreign made wrench. These guns aren't the strongest but they are some of the most reliable. The new IR Compiste guns are insanly strong but don't last forever.
