Figured I'd ask around and see if anyone in western WA state is available to do a very small aluminum TIG job for me. I have a cast aluminum carburetor intake plenum that is going to go on my truck with my new 2bbl carburetor. I need a 1.05 OD x 2.5" long aluminum pipe welded onto the plenum in order to connect my crank case breather tube to it. I don't currently have any equipment that does aluminum...so I figured I might find someone on here willing to do that for me. It should be a pretty small and quick job. I'll drill the intake plenum and pre-cut the pipe so that it's all ready. For a quick clean and then weld.
Any takers?
Thanks in advance.

Jake,
Great :). I'll order in the aluminum pipe that I need and get everything prepped. I'll give you a call as soon as I'm ready.
Zap,
Thanks for the offer...I'll take it to Jake since he's local, but damn...it'd be nice just to have something welded up by you. I think I'll have to take a trip out your way at some point just to hang out and get some seat time with you if you'd be up for that :)

Sounds good, winter. I've got some 1" OD, .049" wall 6061-T6 tubing that might work. Although if you still wanted to bring everything pre-cut and fitted like you mentioned, that'd be sweet too. I look forward to helping you with it.
