There's a new "Links and Resources" forum in the Marketplace section. We've seeded it with just a couple of old posts that we found rummaging around the backlot to give you an idea of the kind of stuff that belongs.
The moderators will have a more active hand in this area than in others to make sure that it becomes and stays valuable. The goal is to provide a list of resources and hidden gems that community members will want to use. We'll look for and remove resources that don't have anything to do with welding and fabrication. And self-promotion is discouraged. What will make this area strong is when it's filled with stuff that OTHER people have validated.
The second addition is "News from WeldingDesign.com" in the Community Support area. This will be distinct from forum announcements. The goal was to prevent confusion and aggravation. We're going to let you know what's up with WeldingWeb's related operations -- but it will be separated from the stuff that you NEED to know about WeldingWeb.
