I'm having a problem lately with the way Everlast threads are being hijacked by posts from individuals who have made it clear in 10 zillion posts that they would never own an Everlast but yet can't seem to stay away from the Everlast forum.I would never buy a Kia and I don't find myself hanging out at my local Kia dealer.I would never own a Longevity welder and have rarley ever posted on their forum because I don't care what goes on in that forum. But Miller and Lincoln owners are obsessed with Everlast for some reason. Are they really concerned about lost American jobs? I bet none of them have ever written their senator or congressmen and told them how unhappy they are.I know this because they are always on the Everlast forum and don't have time to.I don't see bashing of a product or company on any other forum like I do this one.If I were to go on the Miller forum and bash Miller welders on a daily basis would It be accepted or would I find myself in timeout?Everlast seems to be a bunch of guys trying to make a living selling a good product and backing it up with the customer service we all desire. Everlast has definitely raised the bar when it comes to customer satisfaction. They provide great quality equipment that has proved to be reliable.I own one and can say I have not only been treated like a customer I have been treated like a friend.

i'm fairly new to this forum..
i own a thermal arc 185, its a foreign unit manufactured in japan and taiwan, i was informed last week that manufacturing facilities were moved to taiwan (chinese province) but quality control and process is still maintained exactly as it was in the japan facility.... you dont hear much bashing on them... it wouldnt matter to me much anyways, i know my machine works great... if it blows up tomorrow i would probably buy another one, might buy an everlast sometime next year to to try it out.. i'd like to try out a 250ex..
..

seems like as soon as someone posts about an everlast purchase or how happy they are with their machine, 3 or 4 people post about it, and they dont even own or have even ever seen an everlast unit in person at that, but they sure know how bad they are  i dunno..

i would like to try one just to know about them either way good or bad.. they are priced right thats for sure...

What? Write letters? What would that do?
Wouldn't a solution to lost american jobs be for americans
to buy american made goods?
