Has any one used Bend Tech software?
http://www.bend-tech.com/
I’m a hobby welder that is not too smart. When I called the guy on the phone he guided me to the Bend tech Pro program.
I plan on building a cage for the car and just general projects with my bender I built from gottrike.

I've been using Bend Tech for about a decade and continue to use it almost daily.
It is well worth the money and will pay for itself with the amount of scrapped tubing you will save in the first job or two.

After looking at your projects I bet you use it!!!!
I'm not sure what "level program " to get. This will have to come from the secret slush fund so the wife will not see it.

I would suggest getting at least the PRO version.
It allows you to build tubular structures in an assembly rather than just tube by tube. It has a "cutting" feature which allows you to print out wrappers for making notches and really allows you to see the cage or structure you are building before you actually bend any tube.
Cris also has a sheet metal version that he just released.

buy it you will not be unhappy.
the cost is nothing versus wasting tube due to bad bends

I use the Pro version. Has about the most function for the money. It will save you a mile of tube bent wrong once you get it set up and dialed in to your dies. Definately worth the money for what you get.
