I bought this one for $500 and worked well for awhile..Its PCB board is now dead, called tech and spend 30min checking everything to be sure so now the question is keep it or repair it.

Its a very early 900 serial #4578 and from what I understand has a 800 PCB board according to Mike at Hypertherm Tech.

I bought all the manuals and about $200 in consumables for it before it died..

So find a board ..$650 plus the ride is the best I have found or buy new..I don't use a Plasma often but when I do I cut from thin guage to 1/2" and would like clean cust so I don't have to spend lots of time on the sander .

Thanks!

Price not bad. You can try a pc board repair place, will be a little less.
Not a lot go wrong with these units. We replace a control pcb once and a while and the pressure regulators. Customers break the torch receptacles.
Price a new machine power max 45 or 65. Then make up your mind.
A new pcb should give you a good plasma for quite a while.

That unit is probably 15 to 20 years old. It is kind of nice that parts are still available for it! One of the advantages of buying a major brand plasma system.
