I have a filter similar to this one:

I am in Utah and the humidity is relatively low. Would you add more filtering than this to your air?

If so, what would you recommend?

I saw an entry by jimcolt in the pirate4x4 forums just a few moments ago that he thinks one of these filters would be sufficient (unless I misunderstood). Sound right?

i bought this one, http://www.amazon.com/Motorguard-JLMAC-4535-Regulator-Filter/dp/B002XMSFBO
i was also planning to get the one you posted to put on the plasma end, but it seems to be working good by itself . i did test by blowing air at mirror for 20 sec.

the one you posted should be fine by it self as well

That's a good one jdh239, I can't speak for the price though, I got one a long time ago for quite a bit less.

Thank you for the replies. I bought one a while ago too and don't remember the price. I just wasn't sure if it was sufficient by itself in a dry climate or if I needed to add more.

I think I will just make sure to drain my compressor each night and use the filter... hopefully I wont see my consumables dying on me.

They sell that filter for $11 less than your O.P.

I added a pre filter and our air is much drier than the air in Utah
