What are folks' opinion of this grinder?

It appears to be the same as the clarke sold at tractor supply and maybe similar to a lot of other store brands. Just curious cause I am a cheap a$$ ba$tard. I.e., is it half as good as a grinder 3 times the price?

Can't say about the 9". I had the 5" HF (chicago) bought for me by the lil woman. Other than it screams like a banshee can't complain much. The cord is kinda scrawny looking and stiff as can be, but what the heck, when you get them for half price what can ya say.

I see this one is slowed down for the large dia/higher Ft per min rates so when the disc gets down to five or four inches move it over to a five inch grinder. That standard 5/8-7/8 mounting should allow that. That way you can keep a newer big disc on there with no loss of usage overall.

I've got one. Only used it a couple of times. It's a bear to use because of gyroscopic forces, but I needed it for longer reach on a project I was working on. Worked great, though. I'd prefer the 7" because it should be easier to handle.
