Their website lists all of their available plasma equipment as well as the specificatons. If you are looking to buy direct from the factory, I am afraid you will be disapointed. Mr.Colt is a technical advisor, not a salesman.

Ed,
You can download any brochure direct from the Hypertherm website.

http://www.hypertherm.com/

They don't sell direct to the public but have a large dealer base, just click on "where to buy", from the products drop down menu.

Maybe you need to read the corporate responsibility statement on the Hypertherm website.
At least they've got a conscience about the environment so, rather than wasting paper and resources sending hard copies, it looks like they've moved with the times and offer downloads instead.

Maybe more companies need to start doing the same thing, that way, the money they save on not printing and postage could go towards lowering prices.

The thing I find hard to understand is, if you're on the internet anyway asking for guidance, why would you be so hard nosed about something as trivial as a hard copy catalogue??

Sure did.
I just don't understand why someone would get their shorts bunched over something so trivial.
If you're on the internet anyway, what's wrong with downloading a PDF?

Unless of course, he's still on dialup....

ed mac,

Sorry I did not see your message...I search this site daily and somehow missed it. I can send you any piece of literature you would like....iuf you want it in print form. Give me an indication of what type of literature and what type of info. We have hand held plasma systems from 30 to 200 amps, mechanized plasma systems from 45 to 800 amps. We also have a variety of cnc controls, torch height controls for cnc machines, as well as CAM nesting software. Also a pretty full line of plasma and laser cutting consumables, and a 1.5kWfiber laser cutting system. There is not a single catalog for all products.

You can contact me directly at www.hypertherm.com, PM me at this site, or post your question, request on this forum...I'll be happy to help out. PM sent as well.

Best regards, Jim

Ed, I am sure that your local supplier has the brochures in their showroom. I have picked up both Hypertherm and Thermadyne pamphlets on a number of occasions. You don't require information on precision plasma or cnc controllers, so just gather information on the equipment that you are seriously considering.

Ed,

I sent you a PM a few days ago, and also posted on this thread....both stating that I would send you any Hypertherm literature that you may be interested in. We are manufacturers of plasma cutting equipment....not distributors of a wide range of products....so, like almost all other manufcturers we offer individual brochures for each of our products, hand held plasma, air plasma, and mechanized plasma to 800 amps. There is no catalog.

As soon as I hear from you...I'll be happy to send whatever literature you would like....and there has never been any cost for Hypertherm literature.

Best regards, Jim Colt Hypertherm

Just a quick update,

Didn't think ol ed mac could make a bigger azz of himself than he did on this thread.

I was wrong. Ed (posting on millerwelds.com as BC Ironworks), showed what a total dork he is.:(

:dizzy: so its worse over there ?

i don't really understand it. he makes all these posts, people help him and tell him how to post pics, find info, etc... all he does is respond to the negative comments and completely ignores the advice. doesn't return to the same thread and just starts a new one with the same bs.

my grandfather can figure out anything mechanical, plan & build houses.. etc.
when it comes to the internet, i have to show him 10 times how to do simple tasks and he still asks me how to do the same thing.
Thankfully, he does NOT know how to get involved in message boards

I think ED might be starting to wear a tin foil hat like someone else did on this forum once. :dizzy:

He didn't deserve a Hypertherm for not even being able to spell their name correctly.
