Made this for the woman-got the idea from a talented metal worker over on ScottV's 'chaski' board. Ran out've time so technically there is no welding, but next ones (if I make them) will have welds.
maybe a steel magnolia?
(ducking)
That's cool. How did you pattern the petals?

Just freehanded some 4-'leaf' clovers on some 22 ga sheet-metal. Then tin snipped em out. Than beat the crap out've em on various things. Started out on a tow hitch than moved to some tubing.
They are done each smaller than the next or larger works out the same.
My hand metal-shaping tools are pretty skimpy, been spending too much $$ on welders;)
Ryel-thats good:blush: forgot about that chick flick-amazing since it played many many times in this house:rolleyes:
John-glad you liked it- should try em fairly easy and cant really go wrong- thats one of the cool things with 'artsy' stuff.

That is too cool. One of the great things about this board is you can look at a tractor in one post and a flower in the next.
