I need help converting my clarke from gas to flux core. The guys on the welding page were very helpful on what to do ( change the polarity) but i'll be darned if I can figure out how to do it.

On most machines, you just follow the work lead's wire back to where it lands on a bolt, then you swap it (and a wire going to the drive roll assembly) with the bolts next to each other.

Some machines have a set of jumpers in a different location, but both of these designs are usually easy to spot and in the wire spool compartment.

Where's your owner's manual? Can you get another copy from a website somewhere?

That is correct, just a matter of swapping the wire leads and disconnecting your gas. I am not familiar with the 100e but know a bit about the 130e. It should be the same, I can pull out my old manual and maybe scan it. It's not tough though, just switch the leads inside the cover.

Thanks for the Quick response to my question.I have owned this welder for years but used it very little. I checked my files and have the manuals for every tool/machine that i have ever owned except my welder. Maybe it is in the same place as my missing gas bottle! The wireing diagram and instructions from your 130e should be of great help . thanks agian to all.
