Simply the best machine I have ever used.
I needed to wire it for single phase, but didn't want to change the cord as when I go onsite I normally have easy acess to three phase. Called tech service to ask which colors to wire up with. Thirty seconds later, my questions were answered.
This is the first plasma cutter I have personally owned, and this is the only brand I will ever own. Friendly staff on the phone that is knowledgeable. Not having to "press one for English" is another thing I can't put a price on.
Thank you Hypertherm!!!!!

Hypertherm takes their customer service to an insane level. I had a brand new (like 3 day old) hypertherm plasma cutter that would just shut off while using it. Called them, they told me to take the cover off and see what lights where flashing inside. Called them back, they said it was working right with the lights flashing, but cover back on, bame nothing again, take cover off again, same lights, it worked great with the cover off. I come to realize they had put the wrong screws in the case and they where shorting out on a board inside. I was beyonded pissed to the point I was ready to drive to hypertherm and shove it up someones you know what. Well the VP of the company calls me back and says he will have a new one next day aired to me. He personally took it to fedex to ship it, he said if he couldn't get it shipped he was going to drive from NY to DC personally to delievery. Well at 8 am the next day fedex showed up. Even got a personal sorry letter from them over the whole thing, and the vp called me the at 12am to make sure I got it and it was working. A+++ hypertherm.

Extreme...your situation must have happened some time ago....as you are listing a Powermax1250 as your plasma cutter on your equipment list. How has it been working for you? How long have you owned it?

This was about 3 years ago. We where using the plasma cutter to burn two layers of 3/8" plate with about a 1/4" worth of rust between them (stuff was riveted together). We also used to to gorge off about 200 rivets. We had only 5 days to complete the job and first on quit half way into the 2nd day. We where back in business on day 3 and got it done on time.
I haven't had a problem yet with the 2nd one. We rarely used it now adays, unless where are working on stuff that has a ton of rust or really thin metal. As where got into bridge construction 2 years ago. But its very handy to have around. One of my part time guys uses it alot on his own time to make metal art.

I've been using my PM65 on site the last few days. I've been plunge cutting holes and slots in chutes (coal transfer chutes in power plants) with great results. 1/4" chute wall with a 1/2" wear liner, back to back.
I can't even explain how happy I am with this purchase.
Jim,
You need to send me a big pack of literature to hand out. Everyone who tries this wants to buy mine. I could've sold a dozen units in the last week!!!

Nice bonus! I registered mine back in April when I bought it (pm45) and I didn't get anything like that. Must be a random selection or something?
