anyone know of a printable webpage with gauge to decimal to fraction chart. i can find either gauge to decimal or decimal to fraction but haven't found any with all 3 together ??

i broke down a chart i found on the net and put it in two separate jpegs for you... i need to print it out myself, be handy to laminate it and put it on the toolbox..

Here's something I did for myself. One sheet of an XLS. I'm a novice of course. By the time I get the one sheet converted to pdf there's a lot to be desired.
Geese. I just noticed the fractions didn't convert. They cam across as a number string. I'll have to work around that somehow.
Let's see what this looks like. I see I quit at 3 gauge. Wonder what 2 and 1 gauge are?

I guess we will have to go to the metric system reguardless if we like it or not. Just my .02 on the subject.

thanks guys i just printed a couple out really surprised with as many as i found there were none of the 3 together hung em up in the tool box very handy for quick reference:cool2:

Final Final. Here's one that I converted to pdf with all four figures; gauge, fractions, decimals & mm's. Notice that the other one I did previous showed the minimum and nominal thicknesses for many of the gauges. This one is nominal (code/spec) only.
All the info came from this site so accuracy can be verified.

I didn't open up all the attachments in this thread, just saw the question and remembered that there was a sticky with sheet metal guages already here at WW.
Sandy, maybe you should post your nice PDF chart into the sticky thread? :waving:
