I was reading the posts on extension cord sizing. I just checked the mail and found a flyer from Audio Advisor. They have " Audio Quality" 110 volt 6 guage power cords. A 3 meter cord is regularly $689. Now $299.95! You could buy 10 of them, plug them together, and run your MIG out in the garage!

10ga. cord suit me just fine. They're expensive to, but not that bad. I guess you could just buys some 1/0 and make your own extension cord. :)

I suppose if you have a multi-million dollar concert going on and don't want AC hum walking all over everything those are probably worth the money :).
But not today thanks.

So, RonL, do I understand correctly that you are planning on running your welder off your high powered audio amplifier?
By the way, where did you disappear to after dropping that gem?

Actually, my Parasound stereo amplifier ways more than my new Miller CST 280. Could probably weld with it too.
I keep getting logged off.
I was going to write a review of the CST 280, but i have to figure out why I'm getting logged out. Checking cookies and other parameters.

Yeah, it's my only remaining pet peeve with this site. I routinely find my typos also, but you aren't allowed to edit your posts after 30 minutes. This is the only site I frequent that does that. I should do like you and repost the corrections.
