Great weather, mid 30's. Snow melting. No weekend jobs to do so here are some fun projects that filled the time and helped to tighten up the old welding skills. First, a close up of some shapers that fit into the vise. First is close up of welding done with 6013 1/8 at 95 amps

Daughters soccer game is cancelled so I have the afternoon on this nice Sat. to play with camera so here are things around the shop. Needed some pipe clamps so I made some to fit on my clamps. They swivel and just snap on and off. That way I can use them on all me clamps. Took about 10 minutes to make each one

Welding cart
Just a hand truck, cheap that was broke. Took off the broken swivel casters, added heavier ones on some 1 inch angle. Then made a frame for the Tool(tackle) Welding Box. Added some scarp pipe for a handle that also is hanger for all my C clamps and a few spring clamps. Added some rods (1/4") as cable holders. Thats about it. Oh yeah, it works good to.

No Franz, it's not attached to the wall. Sorry about the sideways picture. I also meant to say scrap pipe not scarp pipe so Fla Jim and SBerry won't be asking me Tech questions I cannot answer.
Pic of them clamps. Also notice the hearing protection. Got to be safe. Also have you noticed the apron, welding jacket and well used welding gloves. and helmet.

Shop heater, Acetylene/Ox torch set. Welding table is down here. Wisconsin engine just off an Army winch, Pretty old but still free. Also a Freebie. Back of my John Deere Model LA 16 inch plow.
Acetylene tank= 400CF
Ox tank = 330 CF
Torch = Brazil knock off of Victor with Vanguard safety's, nice torch, cuts really smooth.
All and all a nice Sat. last Saturday. Sunday I did honey do's and tonight just received my HF bender and Scroller. I think for the money, Bender $49 and scroller, $19, A great deal. Are they better ones, sure but for that money.................
