View Full Version : Hypertherm circle cutting guides

This might be a stupid question but how do you use the circle cutting guide without the magnetic/suction base? I understand how to use the one with the base but the Powermax 30 deluxe kit doesn't include it. Without the base, how does the guide rotate in the center of the circle?

I've decided on a PM 30 but am trying to decide if I want the deluxe kit or if my money would be better spent on just the machine and piecing everything else together to meet my needs.

I dont know if I've used that particular model, but the ones i've used are either a magnetic base, or a point to stick in a center punch mark. You would need to put a center punch in the center of your soon to be circle, and place the centering piece on that.
