Just getting into the TIG scene, and have a like new Lincoln SW 175 that I picked up used. I know the general rule of thumb for output needed is basically 1 amp for every .001" of material thickness, +/-. Is there a similar rule of thumb for what diameter of tungsten to use, as well as what size gas nozzle I should be using? I need to find a good info source on TIG welding in general, so any info you experts can point me to is appreciated.

Thanks for the help.
