Interesting concept. Since the thing is operated by your chinstrap and your chin movement, ya'd have to be careful if ya' had a good chaw in - ya' might get flashed!

This gizmo is bound to have some additional monkey-motion. That raises two more questions - reliability and additional weight. A few ounces additional can get wearisome after a few hours.

I'd believe I'd have to try one before I'd buy one.

I've only seen one of those once when I got my first welding job. They guy using it was cooking along pretty well with it. But I never asked him how he liked it.
