1. Engine Hoist, honest to god, ive pulled at least 20 motors out with this thing, no problems at all, high quality, steel constructed, never had a problem and ive had it for almost 3 years, with a coupon u can get it for like 130 bucks like i did

2. 1000lb engine stand- Same thing with this, ive built motors, taken them apart, moved them, with this thing, no problems also.. and it was only 55 bucks.. or the 2000 lb is 100 bucks

3. Heavy Duty Sawsall- Honest to god, this can compare with the black and decker professional i had, ive done everything with this thing from Cutting down a wall in my house, From cutting a front clip off a car....

4. 12 speed floor drill press- ive used this to Drill holes for turbo manifold adapter plates, drilled holes in all differnt thicknesses of steel,

Those are some of the things i have expereicne with, and have had no problems ( i still currently own all of them today with no problems)

Some other little stuff ive used from them with no problems

45 degree angle magnets, Welding tungstens, Welding wire, auto darkening welding helmet, wheel barrow wheels,

One thing id like to know about from HF is there ratchet wrenches? anyone use them?

im never weary bout buying stuff from there because i know if anything breaks theyll take it back no questions asked

If the 12 speed Drill Press you have is the 20" swing model, then I can second your recommendation - mine is great - wish I'd had it when I was building my automobile rotiserrie!

I've had their 9" grinder for a few months now. It is a torque-monster. I dim the lights in my barn every time it starts up...but, it does the job. I got it for $40 on sale...a price that is hard to beat. My local Tractor Supply has what looks to be the same grinder (in blue) by Clarke for about $70. So far, I would recommend this one.

I bought a 5" HF Machinist's vice for $40. I'm not a machinist, so I can't say how well it'll hold a tolerance BUT for holding small parts in the drill press, it's great! Awesome for drilling multiple holes in the same part w/o having to clamp, drill, reclamp, drill..etc. I highly recommend it!

HF sells a little table mounted drill press that's a gem for small holes. I use it for my model railroad. It's got a nice little motor and a multi-speed pulley set (three or four speeds) and a 3/8" Jacobs (Chinese) chuck. Really hard to beat for $39.95 on sale. I bought it about 4 years ago and no trouble whatsoever. The chuck will go all the way down to a .045 drill!

Knowing whats good and whats not is (YOUR) problem before you buy. I have bought many things from Harbour Frt and use them all the time. When you stop talking about money you can decide. Many people want to spend money to be happy. So every one please say how it works not how much it costs.:)

The 15 dollar 4" grinder works great but don't drop it. The housing is crap.
My Dewalt burnt up this week but is under warranty. The HF is doing fine except for the casing.
Have extra. At the price Hf charges, you can have several extra so you will never have to be without.

the small bandsaw is not bad for the money but you'll get tired of barking your shins on that cheap sheet metal base. I welded up a base for it with real wheels. i'm aware it's a throw-away item, so i can remove four bolts and replace the saw on my sturdy base.

Yea I don't know if your talking about the 4 1/2 inch angle grinder. But I had bought it on sale for $9.99. And have had it for about a year and a half and it works great.
