I was told a long time ago that metal core needs to be run in pulse? thats not FCAW its metal core.

Im no expert but the metal core ive been running doesnt have any slag it runs just like spray with hardwire but on steroids. Sure looked like dual sheild to me.

I've never run any metal core myself. The root pass looks like it was run with short arc. The hot pass, fill, and cap looks like they were run with dual shield just going by the slag.

Would have been nice to see the back side of the root.
