Boat rack

I want to start some welding and want to build a boat rack for the back of my truck to hold my boat out of the box. can someone help me

I built a set of aluminum racks that are removable for my truck. They slip into the stakebed wells. I'll take a pic and post for you tonight. I really like them for two reasons:

They are easily removable (just slide in) and,

They are very light.

what kind of aluminum did you use?

I used 1 1/2" round tubing 6061 for most of it and some 1" as bracing. Sorry I forgot to post the pic. I'll do it today!
