Dug my old Victor flowmeter out,and blew the dust off. When pressure was applied, it made a little grunt sound and argon was leaking out of the pop off valve, but the flow ball was not moving. Is the likely cause the little gasket under the popoff valve or the valve itself? I always thought those valves were heat-melt things in case of fire. It has been out of service for 5+ years so I am thinking that the rubber has decomposed. Am I in the ballpark here? Is a complete rebuild necessary? I hate to have to buy a new one....
