Huh, that's news to me. My 4.5" grinders have gone 8 hour days for the last 6 months. For $15, i'll take them any day over a $200 Makita or DeFault (yes, tha'ts intentionally spelled wrong).

I'm not much on the new dewalt grinders either. The older ones are good though.

My HF 4.5" angle grinder has seen hard hobby use for about 3 years. Paid $15.00. I hear the orange power tools are pretty good but watch out for the blue ones. I'll find out as I also have a blue drill. You can also find American made products at HF if you shop right. I just bought a Goodyear 3/8 air hose for $9.95. Don't expect much help from the staff if you have questions.

I have this thing for hf my boss shops there all the time he bought me some c-clamps vise grips (not the visegrip brand the china brand) they didn't even make it for a day threw them in the scrap bin
