Out of curioscity, why did yo mount the machine low where it will catch more crap rather than right below the top where you'd have more available cable and catch less crap?

it dont catch crap at all....the machine is heavy i kept it low to lower the center of gravity cuz i have a sheet metal bend that attaches to the table and helps as leverage
