I was just quoted $97.00 at one place and $80.00 at another for 11 gauge this past weekend. One year ago I was paying $36 to $42. I'm in Phoenix.

"steel prices have DOUBLED in the past 12 mos, and our mills have informed us that this trend will continue into the third qaurter of this yr, then will {hopefully} stabilize... we are working hard to find the lowest cost steel"...also goes on to say that STAINLESS & ALUM have risen in price also, but not on the same scale as MILD STEEL!

My "New and Improved" pricing on 10ga is $75.11 and for 3/16" it's $113.58 (both 48"x96") I haven't checked on any other sizes lately.
This is about a 35% increase over last month. Rumor has it there may be another 25% increase by June. <ouch> I've noticed the same increases in my bar and tube stock also.
