I just acquired 3 idealarc 250's (5188's and one 6686) that were fused at 80 amps 230 without PF caps. To adjust the power factor to use 50 amp 230 service I'll have to add the caps, part # M8810-1 &4 for the 5188's and M8810-12 for the 6686, I have plenty of caps on hand, does anyone know the recomended capacitance I should put in, assuming that bigger is better, but there is probably an optimum value? Also the stabilizing cap value would be good to have to test those. thanks, any info will be greatly appreciated.
