Help identify

Hi all. Does anyone know what model this old Lincoln bullet welder is? Max current on the dial is 375 amps. ID tag is too far gone to make out model no.
Dad bought it from a neighbouring engineering business about 10 years ago for £70, gave it a coat of paint and a set of brushes (free from a mate in the local powerstation) and it's run perfectly ever since. Never missed a beat (if a tad noisy:))
Just curious about it really...

Yours has a polarity switch where the meter is shown in the picture, but meters were often optional on Lincoln machines.

If you are really interested in exactly what this machine is, look for a code number stenciled into the generator frame. It may be hidden by the control box on top.

That is a nice machine. We had one where I used to work. Most run on 3 phase, but not all.

An industrial electrician friend of ours (who sadly died a couple of months ago) had a remote control unit for one of these. I think I might try to acquire it (along with some of his other tools as keepsakes of a dear friend). It seems to be similar to the voltage control on the main box.
Anyone ever seen or used one?
