I typed in Lincoln welder dealers and the first site was http://www.welders-direct.com/index.htm. (Central Welding Supply) out in Washington state.
Has anybody had any experience with them? I was looking at the Miller Synchrowave 200 for example, $1705, shipping included. My local Miller dealer in Indianapolis qouted me $2000+ for the same rig.
Also, is the Lincoln Precision 225 a quality machine?
Thanks for any input.

There prices on the larger machines seem to be about $100 below the average. Looks like a good dealer. That is all I can add, as I have no experience ordering from them.

My first and last experience with Weldingdirect.com out of Chicago.
I found there web site by browsing the internet. I noticed that there prices for welding supplies are pretty good compared to other online stores. Buuuuuuutttttt! They get you on there shipping charges.
I ordered a 12' WP9FV tig torch with a few collets. Less than 1 pound in weight.
I never received a conformation for my order. I received my items in the mail a few days later. I checked my bank account and they charged me $32 shipping. I was not very happy with the way they do business.

My LWS is Central Welding. They have something like 20 shops in Washington state. Nice. Professional. Knowledgable. I've always had good luck working with them.

Me too - they're my LWS (central welding that is). Very happy with them. They have great deals on CK Worldwide products, too.

I ordered a Lincoln Eagle from weldingmart.com and was very happy with the customer service. In the end it was no different than calling the closest lws 45 miles away. The salesman called me and we talked back and forth a few times. He called me after I received the order to make sure everything was OK. I would buy again from welding mart.
I have ordered some tig rods from Ram Welding Supply with good luck also.
