Upon encouragement from your many essays - I just applied with FedEx.

I augmented my application: with a photo of your somni-reprobation; and
stated, "I can do everything this 'model employee' can do", but promised
to sleep at home [to give me a selection edge].

Will you put in a good word for me - Fred would love to hear from you . . .

There is a little run of pipe fence with some terrible welds, next to one of the fences I am working on. I will have to get a video, because it it easier than uploading pictures.

    Jess,
You should look at my post of the fence on the UPRR. That was a mess.

I must say that while I don't always concurr with Opus point of view and sometimes he is somewhat blunt, his posts are rather interesting. IMHO!

Moto, I think everyone (or almost everyone) who has ever worked as an employee, has slacked sometimes at work. But try not to make it too evident!

    Keep the pictures coming!

Mower of a design/ predictable failure. This is Ariens mower 5 years old, in pristine condition. No sign of impact. The second photo is the sheet metal deck meant to add stability to the axle assembly.

Thought this was comical. Nice bolts. Must to be difficult to weld vertical in a CAD drawing.

Never seen that kind of a setup before. Looks like it's concrete sleeve anchors, hope it doesn't have to hold too much, may be ok in shear tho....maybe LOL..............Mike

I've seen bolts like that used as expanding anchors for plastic. It uses a simple sleave with slits that make it "flower" as the nut is tightened. The effect is the same as if a washer was installed inside.
