    Re: Vise Grip Holder???

I have all mine in a drawer of my toolbox, but i guess it would be easy just to have a strip of flat bar and just clamp them to that, but that would mean screwing them up every time, Just as easy to put in a drawer

Ditto what Gerry said. You can stuff the plier type ones into rectangular tubing, but a drawer is best IMHO.

Now, the 11R type & larger, you can run a piece of 1/2" pipe between two standoffs with feet on them & mount it to the wall, then just tighten the jaws up & clamp them shut with the pipe inside. I hang all my bigger ones & C clamps on my table like that.

You can also use pieces of pipe that stick out perpendicular to the wall with a bases on them & round flat ends. Put them on a slight angle & hang your clamped up 11R vice grips from it

I made a paper towel holder like that. I'll take a pic & post it if I can remember.

    IMHO of course

I am not at the shop and wont be untill Monday now, but what we use is a 2x2x11g peice of angle. I hung all mine at home on nails on the wall, that worked really well for me. always knew where to look and my 5 year old "helper" couldnt reach them to "use them" good luck I will try to get pics for you on Monday.

The 10 pairs on the truck stay piled in a box, and at the shop a piece of 1/2" pipe between 2 legs of the work table keeps them in one place. My 11SP's hang from the pipe just fine in the open position -- no need to screw them closed.

Too clean and neat. Those tools have never been used, at least not for welding! Where's all the soot, metal discoloration, and spatter?

Ask for a wrench and someone will offer you a grinder.

It is not a complicated task.

I keep my stuff pretty clean too and that is the way its going to stay.

    Yeah, looks nice.

Unfortunately, around here it would be the very last tool in the line that was needed. And that would be the case every single time.
