I decided to make a press brake today out of some scrap I had. Works good and is real beefy. Also made an antenna tripod mount. First one I'll do then next one a lot different but making prototype gives lots of input for next revision... oh, check out the ballast bags full of lead shot I used them today for first time they are very useful.

Bob-tach parts I had to make since old ones were seized up and rusty. Made from scrap I don't throw anything away sometimes that pays off...

They must of used that machine to load salt to have the original parts looking like that. Your parts look great though.

Got this 1/4" stainless fire box welded out, now time for the door. Welded with 5 cup 10 cfh and 3/32 312 rod doing lay wire the whole time at 150 amps out side corner, played with my pulser and was laying down some nice dimes. Fire box is still straight not wobbly or warped, got a tad warped after I ran a bead to far I think at first but seems to pretty much be flat. and there were some backing trixs to keep it cool so it don't wanna warp, fire brick is going insideName: image.jpg

Not necessarily...I've done a few of those that were just as bad and they were just landscapers who never cleaned or greased anything.

Guy sends me this picture and says he needs my help. No problem, butt welded that tongue back on and ran the wires.

Did this yesterday not my best work but it will get the guy by till the new one comes in. Its for a well drilling rig and the sand cut a hole in it. He needs to drill a few wells and has a new one on order but till then. All I had on hand was silicon bronze filler so that's what it got.
