I have no idea. The customer wanted it in the back but we talked him out of that for safety reasons.

What material did you use? I could use something like this for lifting my tool boxes.

    Hey,

Those handrails look great in a modern, minimalist way. I bet the house looks good too!

I see that this is your first post, and this thread is a great place for that!

    Welcome to the forum here!

The mast is 1.5"×2.5" .188" tube, the rest Is just off cuts of tube I had laying around. I had some 11 gauge sheet metal that I used to make the top pulley cross bar and also used the sheet metal for the forks.

Looks awesome!! Welcome to Welding Web. Your welds look great. Are the vertical posts open at the bottom to let rainwater drain out as I am sure a 1/4" or more of water will collect in them from entering into the holes

They are side mounted with holes drilled for drainage. That's hard anodized aluminum.

Nine of these little bastard steel prefab pyrotechnic buildings(condos we call them). All collapsible onto the floor section for transport and airlift. Hopefully tomorrow they will pick up the last three sets.

Likes long walks in the dark & late nights by the fire with a good whine. Down to earth and easy flowing. Polished appearance. Into lots of pre-heating & satisfying the puddle. Seeks firey weld with long legs, overlapping toes, and small ripples.

That is exactly right. If the customer got his way, we would have built him an accident guaranteed to happen. That is some serious bad juju.

Father/ son project. "Sitting bench" made from scrap iron, an old snowboard, and several old skateboards. Actually quite comfortable and sturdy.

Chain is the only support for back rest.
Snowboard is secured using (8) bolts that pass through bottom tube into snowboard binding holes.
Used self tappers to secure skateboard back rest tube.

    Gar

Tac welded some angle to hold back rest in place for welding chain.

Welded some chain together, then welded it to bench to support back rest.

    Finished project.
